The Island of Misfit Mamas was created after my son was born in 2017. While they say it takes a village to raise a child, I was having trouble finding my village. There were individuals who wanted to help, but couldn’t because they themselves were so busy that finding time to help was difficult. There were others who could help but chose not to because, quite frankly, they didn’t care enough to help.
Our goal is help others find a village as unique as they are. No two individuals are alike. Their village should represent that.
