One person’s trash is another person’s treasure. Whenever trash day approaches, I’m always surprised to see what an individual household can sometimes put on the curb for pick up. Many times, I’ve pulled over to pick up a few things to take home to repurpose or upcycle into something new that we can use in our own home.
Dresser Drawer Bookshelf
As we were walking from after picking up my son from school, we came across a dresser that had been placed upon the curb. With the assistance of my son and some neighbourhood kids, we claimed the drawers and plopped them in the garage temporarily. When time permitted, I put a bunch of them together to make a new bookshelf for my son.
